  • The Printed Event is based in Southwest Michigan, but we are booking across the USA. 

  • We are family-owned and sister-operated!

  • When you work with us, you get the benefit of our working with our entire team of creative, caring and efficient professionals.   

  • We hold in-person and zoom consultations with our clients, and communicate with you every step of the way by email, phone or whichever method you prefer!  

  • We prioritize the highest print quality by producing items in-house at our parent’s printing facility, and through partnerships with other trusted professionals.  

  • Your orders are packaged with care and when possible, personally delivered to your venue.

Meet Jill

Jill Frattura

Co-Manager

My professional background includes 6+ years in my role with The Printed Event, as well as 10+ years in the wholesale and retail print & promotional industries. I am skilled in Brand Development & Management, E-Commerce, Digital & Traditional Marketing Strategy, Targeted Research & Fulfillment of Print and Promotional Products, and Business Development.  

I enjoy leading an active lifestyle, reading, traveling, and making memories with my family.

I handle the behind-the-scenes of TPE - from the day to day business management, marketing and advertising strategy, estimating, research & development of new products, and order fulfillment. Every project is truly as unique as the couple we work with, and I love the challenge (and honor) of bringing the beautiful creations to life for our clients.

Meet Liz

Liz Berghorst

Co-Manager

Full transparency — I never saw myself being part of the family business! I grew up in the world of music — show choir and musical theater and went to college with the dream of becoming a choir teacher. After 10 years as an educator, I realized being in the classroom was not my lifelong passion.

I became a mom in 2018, and I felt that I couldn’t give 100% to each my family and my students. I longed to find something that was more fulfilling and enjoyable that I could do while at home with my family. Once the global pandemic lead me to teach my music classes and choir rehearsals over Zoom, that was the push I needed to take the leap of faith. I dove headfirst into entrepreneurship with my sister. I enjoy working with people so this transition from the classroom to customer service has felt like a perfect fit for me.

You can find me working with our couples (or their planners) to help bring their design vision to life, guiding them through their stationery journey or sharing our products and services on social media and marketing emails. I take pride in the fact that we are a family-owned and sister-operated business and love supporting other businesses like ours. Whether you’re a wedding couple, a vendor or a fellow small business, I can't wait to get to know you!

In my free time, you can find me with my people — my husband: Devin, our two boys: Grayson and Charlie, and our sweet elderly golden retriever: Ripley. I love walks on a crisp fall morning, reading on the beach at Lake Michigan in the summer, and a good sweaty workout (especially Orange Theory classes, Pure Barre classes and Peloton workouts).

I find cooking calming and have recently started growing vegetables- how rewarding is it to cook with the produce that I grew with my own two hands?! I never miss the Farmers Markets on Saturday mornings and am guilty of binge watching a good show on Netflix (send me your recommendations!) We reside in Ann Arbor and love cheering on Detroit sport teams (Go Lions, Tigers and Red Wings!) and most importantly, GO BLUE!

    Hi, I’m Abby! I’m a proud Michigan native, graphic designer, and mom who loves all things wellness and the outdoors. I find joy in simple things — good coffee, fresh air, and time with my family.

    With over 10 years of design experience, I love helping brides bring their wedding stationery visions to life, making their big day feel even more special. I look forward to working with you!

  • Jennaveyve Dawson | Designer

    Hi there! I’m Jennaveyve, a graphic designer whose passion is bringing people’s visions to life.

    I started my design career in high school, beginning with designing t-shirts for school events and eventually selling custom paintings to my local Taco Bell. I graduated from Western Michigan University with a degree in Advertising and Promotion and have since worked for companies ranging from Human Resources and Real Estate to Marketing Agencies and the Health Industry.

    I’m currently a passionate graphic designer and marketing specialist for an ocular supplement company and love to freelance on the side to exercise a more creative outlet. I specialize in branding, packaging, social media, and print design, but in reality, I love anything to do with the creative process.

    A little thing about me outside of work is that I love to bake, read, and play board games with the family.

  • Mahi | Illustrator

    Hi! I’m Mahi, an Ohio-based graphic designer with a passion for layout, custom lettering and illustration. I graduated from Temple University’s Tyler School of Art and Architecture in Philadelphia and have been working as an interdisciplinary designer ever since.

    By day, I’m a designer for a home decor company, by night freelance design and illustrator for a variety of clients. I enjoy helping people turn their creative dreams into reality. Whether it’s products, branding, or invitation design, I love helping clients find design that speaks to them.

    Outside of design I enjoy cooking, gardening, and binge-watching true crime shows.

    The Printed Event’s production facility is located Southwest Michigan, where our team collaborates to create unique, cohesive print and decor for your luxury event. 

  • Fulfillment

    We serve local clients by offering facility pick up, or on-site delivery with set up.  For our destination events or clients located across the USA, we partner with FedEx for shipping options.

  • Business Hours

    Monday:  12 pm – 4 pm
    Tuesday–Thursday:  9 am – 4 pm
    Friday:  9 am – 12 pm
    Saturday & Sunday:  Family Days
