Full transparency — I never saw myself in the family business before TPE was born! I grew up in the world of music — choir and musical theater and went to school with the dream of becoming a choir teacher. But, after 10 years as an educator, I realized being in the classroom was not my lifelong passion. I longed to find something that was more fulfilling and enjoyable than what I was currently doing.

Then, in late 2020, our son was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. I quickly found that I couldn’t give 100% to my family and also 100% to my students. That was the push I needed to take the leap of faith and dive headfirst into entrepreneurship with my sister. Although classroom management is not a skill that carries over into this new career, I enjoy working in customer service and chatting with our clients and business partners. I also love sharing our products and services on social media.

I handle most of the forward-facing elements of TPE - working with couples and planners to get to know each client and their vision for their events as well as handling our social media and email marketing.  My favorite part about what we do is taking the time to focus on the story and the faces behind the clients we meet with.  My other favorite part — working with my family. I love and take pride in the fact that we are a family-owned and female-operated business. I love finding other businesses like ours and lifting them up in their community.

In my free time, you can find me with my people- my husband, Devin, our 6-year-old son Grayson, our second son, Charlie (age 1 1/2), and our sweet golden retriever, Ripley. We are expecting our second son, in December, and are excited to become a family of 4! I enjoy living a healthy and balance lifestyle, music and singing, cheering on our favorite sports teams, movement of any kind (mostly running, yoga, barre, cycling, weight lifting, walking), and cooking.

I handle the behind-the-scenes of TPE, and work with our "frendors" and business clients to help them create and acquire branded goods.  I have a passion for supporting the growth of small businesses so together, we may have a greater positive influence on the local community. Primarily, I focus on:

1. Connecting with business owners to create trusted and responsive professional relationships. I like to get to know the person/people behind the company, as well as learning about the story behind the brand, in order to tailor our services and find best matches for products.

2. Utilizing my acquired skillset and industry knowledge to advise on the best print & promotional products to fit a company's needs.

My professional background includes 10+ years in the wholesale and retail print & promotional industries.  I am skilled in Brand Development & Management, E-Commerce, Digital & Traditional Marketing Strategy, Targeted Research & Fulfillment of Print and Promotional Products, and Business Development.

I am usually accompanied by my mini me (Peyton, age 8).  I enjoy leading an active, holistic lifestyle, reading, and visiting Lake Michigan!
