The Bistro

Our Story

The Bistro is a hidden gem located right on Silver Beach in South Haven.  It's a dream come true for Ms. Wilson, who was born and raised in southwest Michigan. Her love of the Lake has grown out of happy memories made at the family lakehouse.  "There was a lack of options for visitors to sit lakeside while sharing a meal together.  I wanted to recreate the atmosphere from my childhood so my guests could create their own special memories at the lake with good friends & family." 

The Bistro is co-owned by Peyton and her mother, Amy, who enjoy meeting each and every guest who visit their cherished restaurant.

Our Services

Enjoy one of our signature beverages while you take in the breathtaking views of the Lake.  Our nationally-recognized kitchen staff (ran by Ms. Wilson's aunt, Elizabeth Franchesca) creates seasonal menus featuring a wide selection of appetizers and small plates, sourcing only the freshest ingredients from our partnerships with local farms.  

The Bistro has tables reserved for walk in guests as well as a section for reservation-only.  Please contact Peyton for facility & grounds rentals.
