Our Story

Frolic Events specializes in full service event planning and day of coordination. Owner Elizabeth Gawel has more than 10 years experience in the event industry, working in both the service and planning side of the field. This gives her the intuition needed to plan and coordinate near flawless events! Elizabeth holds a bachelor’s degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management and is a Certified Wedding Planner. We chose the name Frolic Events because one of the definitions of the word “frolic” is “an occasion or scene of fun.” After 10 years in the industry, it had become easy to forget that these special events were supposed to be fun! As a key part of these occasions, we should feel just as much joy at the guests at the events. We couldn’t think of a better way to remind ourselves of this than to incorporate it into our name.

Our Services

Frolic Events offers full service wedding and event planning, day of coordination, and hourly consultation. Our standard packages are as follows:

• Full Service Wedding Planning: $1,250.00
• Day of Coordination: $750.00
• Hourly Consultation: $50/hour

We are happy to work with clients to create a customized package if our standard wedding packages don’t quite fit their needs. For non-wedding events, we would also work with the client to create a custom package. We have coordinated graduation parties, anniversary parties, milestone birthday celebrations, showers, and more.
