1. To ensure best results for paper goods:
-
Wait to display - We recommend displaying welcome signs, ceremony programs, reception menus/place cards/table cards/seating charts, or other paper products just before your guests arrive. Think of this step as a finishing touch to keep them safe from inclement weather (paper products do not like moisture and wind!)
-
For soft touch or laminated goods... - If you upgraded your order to include soft touch stock (or another type of lamination), we recommend when writing on these products to use a ballpoint pen or Sharpie marker to prevent smearing and improve legibility.
-
Package with care!. All paper products can crease or fold if not properly boxed before transporting, so consider ways to prevent damage when packing up your goods to take to your event locations!
2. To ensure best results for hard goods:
-
Clean the surface with glass cleaner before displaying - fingerprints can result from general handling of these products, so before you gift wrap your personalized gifts, display acrylic signs or set out those wine glasses on the tables, do a quick wipe with glass cleaner and paper towels!
-
Handle acrylic and wood as you would glass! While the acrylic has more durability than glass, it can still break if dropped or packed in the bottom of a box so please handle with care! All hard goods can also scratch, so consider wrapping in a cloth or with bubble wrap before transporting or gift wrapping.
3. To ensure best results for soft goods:
-
Protect your items during transportation! All of our soft goods can wrinkle or stain during transportation, so to ensure best quality we recommend transporting flat in a box or in a garment bag.
- Consider bringing a portable steamer to eliminate wrinkles!
