Our Story

We’re Kyle and Rachel, owners and lead planners for K + R Coordination, Michigan’s creative, full-service event planning company where the sky’s the limit.

Early on, we both knew we were destined for a career in event planning and met when we were working together in the wedding industry. What lacked in our roles as event coordinators at our previous employers is what inspired us to take a leap of faith and go off on our own. We realized that our passion wasn’t really the work, it was the people. Their stories, their beauty, and their dreams. We wanted to be a part of all aspects of bringing it to reality. We will walk you through planning and design from conception to conclusion. When working with us, nothing is beyond your reach. If you can dream it, we can produce it. No detail is too big or too small for us to handle and our process is customized because we know no two weddings are alike. We’re all about creativity and are meticulous in using our network of suppliers for impeccable execution (we will also help you successfully manage your expectations and budget). Our life’s work is bringing your vision to reality. K+R provides professional, elegant, sophisticated services to ensure your special day is as wonderful as you hoped and dreamed. Day of Coordination - This package is ideal for the couple who have the planning done, but need assistance with last minute details and organization. Most importantly, they want an expert professional to execute them on their big day!

Partial Wedding Planning - This package is ideal for the couple who likes to be more hands-on with their wedding planning, but also want a professional assistant who will pay close attention to detail to ensure their special day will go as planned.

Full Wedding Planning - This package is for the couple who wants to avoid all the stress and struggles that come with planning a wedding. K+R will manage all of the big and small details so you can enjoy your engagement and arrive to your magical day worry-free.

Small Event Planning - Birthdays, Bridal/Baby Showers, Proposals, Bachelor/ette Parties, Corporate Parties, Holiday Parties Etc.
